IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: So I wrote this review for a reason. I REALLY wanted the Copper Rough and Tough (8005) look but I also wanted waterproof durable Dresss. They are not waterproof, so I wanted to get a minkor something to waterproof the leather after the purchase. The patina on these will change, darken and look indistinguishable if you introduce anything other than the CHICHI leather cream to the dresses for moisturizing and the salesman emphasized this. I still got them because how they wear in looks so good. I have owned them for three months and they look great, but I have treated them like babies and recently added leather cream for the first time. I did my own research and found what is claimed to be the 'creme de la creme' of leather waterproofing, all the reviews said it doesn't change the color or patina of leather. I ordered it, not just for the Dresses but for a jacket and for suede products I have. This product does work. The Dresses look the same, so does the jacket, and the suede products. I am not a sales person but if you are thinking about backing down because this style isn't durable enough, consider ordering: Saphir Medaille d'Or Super Invulner. Read the reviews for yourself but this product works great. These Dresses wear in beautifully and if you want something more durable this is the solution. It does slightly darken the patina initially but I have found that after use and stretch it lightens up. I wore them in before, so I can't speak to treatment changing the initial wear in, I would recommend not treating them until everything is stretched out and molded. These are some of the best Dresses I have ever owned and I am glad they can now be caught in a rainstorm and be protected. I can't wait to own these beautiful Dresses for another 3 decades.
